Physical Disk

The Physical Disk Check measures overall disk performance. Use this check to analyze the disk subsystem, including the disk controller, the I/O bus, and the disk partitions.

The Physical Disk Check is supported on Windows and Linux devices.

The check samples the following components every 5 seconds:

• Average Read Queue Length: The average queue length for read requests issued to the device.
• Average Write Queue Length: The average queue length for write requests issued to the device.
• Average Percentage Disk Time: The percentage of time the disk is busy with read/write activity.
