Logout User

Script Type: Python

When the Logout User task is executed, the script quits all applications and logs the logged-in user out of the Mac computer. When logout is initiated, the user receives a logout message with the option: Reopen windows when logging back in.

If Device Management for Apple is not enabled, the user is prompted to all allow rmmagentd to control System Events.

Parameters

• Force Logout: Ends the user session instead of requesting logout.
• Hide macOS notification when script is run: Logs out the user without showing a notification.
