Deploy and Manage Profiles

After profiles are uploaded, you use the Device Library to deploy and manage the profiles on macOS and iOS devices that completed the Apple Device Management enrollment process, or have the Apple Device Management version of Mobile Device Management installed.

Apple Configuration Profiles are not supported on devices using macOS 10.12 or earlier. You cannot push Apple Configuration Profiles to those devices.

Depending on the number of profiles you select in the Device Library, you can install, remove, or view profiles installed (or pending) for a device. For more information, see:

To open the Device Library go to Settings > Apple Device Management > Profile Deployment.

In the Device Library you can sort the list of devices by name, model, OS version and installed profile count, and you can search for a device.

The Device Library displays when it was last refreshed and you can reload the page to get the latest information.

You can also manage Profiles at the device level through a dedicated device level version of the library. Right-click the macOS computer in the Workstations or Mixed view, or the iOS device under Mobile Devices, and select Manage Profiles and then Install, Remove or View.
