- In the All Devices view, right-click the device in the North-pane.
- Select Task > Delete.
- From the list of tasks, select the Task you want to delete, and then select Next.
- In Delete Task Device Confirmation, confirm the device where you want to delete the task.
- Select Delete Task.
- Select OK to confirm the deletion.
Delete an Automated Task from multiple devices
You can delete Automated Tasks in bulk for selected devices or at the Client or Site level.

- Multiple devices in the North-pane: Use Shift + select for a range or Ctrl + select for specific devices. Right-click one of the selected devices and choose Task > Delete.
- Select the task you want to delete, and then select Next.
- Confirm the devices in the Delete Task Device Confirmation prompt.
- Select Delete Task.
- Select OK to confirm the deletion.
Bulk deletion limits and recommendations
- You can delete a task from up to 2,000 devices at a time.
- To manage more than 2,000 devices running an identical task (same configuration, schedule, and descriptive name), create similar tasks with different descriptive names and apply them to smaller groups.
Example:
- Clean All Temp Files - Batch 1
- Clean All Temp Files - Batch 2
- Use multi-select and the Device Context Menu to edit Automated Tasks across multiple devices and change the descriptive name before deletion.
