Configure Session Timeout

As an additional security precaution, you can automatically disconnect sessions after a configured time period.

This is applicable on a session by session basis, with the option to configure a default setting.

  1. Click the three vertical dots in the top right of the Take Control (N-able) Viewer

  2. Select Session Inactivity Timeout
  3. Select a time period
  4. You need to set this up on each device at the first connection to another device.

    To save the selected time as the default for future connections on this one viewer, repeat the steps above and click Save Current Setting as Default.
