Alert Routing Settings: Check - Server

Configure notifications at the individual Check level for Servers. For example, setup dedicated notification routes for critical server Check failures to alert the fast-response team to the failure.

  1. Select the target server in the North-pane Servers tab of the N-sight RMM Dashboard
  2. Go to the Checks tab in the South-pane
  3. Right-click the Check and select Edit Check
  4. Click Alert Settings and select Alert Routing
  5. Choose a setting from the drop-down:
    ChoiceAction
    On Define custom settings:
    1. For Office Hours, enter the recipient Email addresses and/or SMS numbers

      Use a comma to separate multiple email or SMS entries, and include the country calling code in SMS numbers. For example, +4676123456 for a Swedish number.

    2. For Out of Office Hours, enter the recipient Email addresses and/or SMS numbers
    3. Send Check IDs in the Email Headers section (optional)

      Check IDs are only included in Check alerts, they are not included in Device level notifications. For example, Server Overdue.

    Use ParentNo action required.

    The policy settings of the parent entity are inherited.

  6. If a recipient field is not specified, the setting for this Alert is inherited from the parent.

  7. Click OK to apply
