Configure additional device security

With N-sight RMM app version 1.1.0 and later, you can use the device's inbuilt security options and set a passcode or fingerprint scan to sign-in. Where enabled, these authorization methods are also required to validate a Take Control session from the app.

Initial N-sight RMM App Sign-in

1. Open the N-sight RMM app.
2. Enter your N-sight RMM login Email address and Password.
3. Populate the Security Code if Two Factor Authentication is enabled for your account.
4. In the Device security dialog choose from the device supported options: Use Fingerprint or Create Passcode.
5. Configure the chosen security option (if required).

Settings

1. Open the N-sight RMM app.
2. Enter your N-sight RMM login Email address and Password.
3. Populate the Security Code if Two Factor Authentication is enabled for your account.
4. Press the menu button or swipe-in from the left.
5. Go to Settings.
6. Select from the available sign-in methods:Use Fingerprint or Create Passcode.
7. Configure the chosen security option (if required).

Change or disable additional device security

1. Sign-in to the N-sight RMM app.
2. Press the menu button or swipe-in from the left.
3. Go to Settings
1. Change: select a different security option and configure.
2. Disable additional device security: exit out of the Settings dialog.
