ConnectWise® Automate™ User Account

In order to integrate Passportal with ConnectWise Automate, a user account must be used to verify the connection.

We recommend that a unique account be created in ConnectWise Automate for this purpose, thus preventing technician or administrator accounts being used inappropriately, potentially giving access to configurations or sensitive data unintentionally.

Account Permissions

The account you create for the integration must have the following permission:

  • Access to all clients

MFA (2FA) Considerations

If you require to have MFA enabled for the account, you will also need to ensure that the Integrator checkbox is ticked for the account.

You will find this checkbox at the bottom left of the edit account window in ConnectWise Automate.
