Ping Test

A Ping test can be run from Mail Assure's Network Tools page by a user at any level.

  1. Login to Mail Assure
  2. In the right-hand menu, navigate to Continuity > Network Tools
  3. The Ping tab will open by default

  4. Fill in the Ping Test Fields
    • Destination: The host server you need to test access to
    • Packets: The number of packets to attempt to send
    • Timeout (sec): The length of time (in seconds) allowed before the test will timeout
  5. Check IPv4 only or IPv6 only option to check reachability from these IP address versions only
  6. Click Run

    7. Once run, the results of the Ping test will appear in the Results box on the page
