Description

• I am unable to send mail to the outbound filter
• Error: Failed to send AUTH command. SMTP server does not support any authentication mechanisms. Remove email credentials, or use a server which supports authentication.

Environment

• Mail Assure
• Sending mail server relaying to Mail Assure
  • Exchange 2013/2016/2019

Solution

• Ensure that the Mail Server's option for Basic Authentication only after starting TLS is enabled
• Mail Assure only accepts credentials using encrypted connections for security.
