You can update the Backup Manager configuration file in the following way:
- Stop the internal backup processes and service on the machine
- Open a text editor on the device as an Administrator
- Open the config.ini file found in the Backup Manager installation folder (see the table below for the exact file path on each operating system)
- Edit the settings as needed
- Save the changes
- Close the file
- Start the internal backup processes and service on the machine. This is necessary to apply the new settings

The location of the config.ini file depends on your operating system:
