Unsubscribe from Notifications

Recipients can unsubscribe from Cove Data Protection (Cove) Notification emails by using the Turn off this email notification link at the bottom of the email.

  1. Open the notification email
  2. Scroll to the bottom and click Turn off this email notification to unsubscribe

  3. Confirm you wish to unsubscribe

    4. A confirmation will be displayed to advise that you have been successfully unsubscribed and will no longer receive these notification emails.

View Unsubscribed Recipients

Unsubscribed recipients can be viewed on Cove's Management Console, under Management > Notifications. The unsubscribed recipients display in the recipients list with an orange background, while the subscribed recipients have blue background.

If a notification has been unsubscribed from by all recipients, a warning message will display in the Notifications page to advise. This message will also display when editing a Notification with no recipients.

Resubscribe Recipients

To resubscribe an unsubscribed recipient:
  1. Navigate to Management > Notifications
  2. Select the Notification in question to edit the configuration
  3. Delete the recipient from the Internal Recipients field
  4. Save the changes
  5. Add the recipient back to the Internal recipients field
  6. Save the changes and close the editor.
