Disable a tenant in Cloud Commander

You can disable CSP and non-CSP tenants in Cloud Commander. When a tenant is disabled, it is still linked to Cloud Commander and shown in the Microsoft Cloud Access view, but no tenant data is visible in Cloud Commander and you can't select it in the customer selector. You can't administer a tenant or view information for it using Cloud Commander if the tenant is disabled.

When you change a disabled tenant back to enabled, it still has the required customer approval for you to administer the tenant in Cloud Commander.

Prerequisites

  • Your need the Cloud Commander Microsoft Cloud Access Administrators role or be a member of a group with that role.
  • The tenant must be enabled in Cloud Commander.

Disable a tenant in Cloud Commander

  1. In the left navigation, select   SettingsMicrosoft Cloud Access.
  2. Select a tenant by clicking in its row and select Disable tenant.
  3. When prompted, review the summary of your request, and confirm.

The tenant is set to Disabled in Cloud Commander, and no data is visible in Cloud Commander. The tenant is still linked to Cloud Commander with the customer approval intact so you can change it back to enabled if you want.

To change a disabled tenant back to active, follow the same steps as above but select Start tenant set up instead.
