Remove Microsoft Entra ID role assignments

Use Cloud Commander to remove Microsoft Entra ID role assignments from users.

Remove a Microsoft Entra ID role from a user

1. On the left navigation, select Identity > Users.
2. If not already selected, use the global customer selector - Customers drop-down menu to select the customers from where you want to select users.

   If the user list is empty or you can't find a specific user, select Refresh to show the most recent data.

3. Filter or search to find the user you need and select the Name of the user to view the details.

   

4. Go to the Roles tab and select the Microsoft Entra Roles tab.
5. Select the checkboxes for the roles you want to remove and select Remove assignments.

   When multiple customers are selected in the global customer selector, only options that apply to all selected customers display.

6. When prompted, review the summary of your request, and confirm.

The selected roles are removed from the Roles - Microsoft Entra Roles tab for the user.
