Add a command block job
You can add a command block job for a device, group, organization, or user. The parameters required depend on the specific command block you add. For example:
For an organization, you need:
- The Organization ID for your MSP organization and for the target customer organization. See List organizations
- The Command Block ID for the specific command block you want to add. See List Command Blocks.
- Any parameters required by the specific command block. See Get Command Block details.
For a user, you need:
- The Organization ID for the target customer organization. See List organizations.
- The user ID for the target user. See List users.
- The Command Block ID for the specific command block you want to add. See List Command Blocks.
- Any parameters required by the specific command block. See Get Command Block details.
Command blocks are actions performed using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, Azure API, and Partner Center API to deliver information from Microsoft or to configure cloud assets like users, devices, or services.
