Description
- Can I get Alerts for a Failed LocalSpeedVault?
Environment
- Cove Data Protection (Cove)
- Backup and Recovery
Solution
- The LocalSpeedVault status can be viewed in the Management Console
- Login to the Cove Dashboard
- On the Devices view click Columns
- Search for 'LSV'
- Check the option for the LSV Status column to enable it
- Click Save
- If the LocalSpeedVault remains in a failed state for more than 14 days it is automatically removed from the Backup Manager in order to ensure data is being protected offsite correctly. Any sessions that are not synchronized from the LocalSpeedVault to the cloud will be invalidated and the data will be captured again during the next backup.
