Notification Summary Report

Configure N-able N-central Dependencies prior to running any reports.

The Notification Summary report provides the daily notification counts for multiple customers, and the number of notifications sent by customer, profile, method, type, and recipient. To select multiple customers, press and hold down the Ctrl key, and then click each customer that you want to select.

Use this report to determine the customer and profile notifications that are triggering the most alerts on your network. By comparing the numbers of notifications sent by each customer, you can identify the customers experiencing the most failures, and the areas consuming most of a technician's time. You can show your customer that your early response to alerts has resulted in uninterrupted service.

If the top number of selected notifications is less than 50, then the remainder of the customer and profile notifications will show up as a single aggregate in the charts and lists. For example, if you have a total of 100 customers, and you select to show the top 15 customer and profile notifications, the charts and lists will show the details for each of the 15 selected, and the remaining 75 customers will be shown as a single entry.

The generated report has the following sections:

  • Notification Summary. A line graph with the count of notifications charted over the time period of the report.
  • Notifications by Customer. A pie chart and a table, which display the number of notifications and percentage of notifications for the top number of customers.
  • Notifications by Profile. A pie chart and a table, which display the number of notifications and percentage of notifications for the top number of notification profiles.
  • Notification Details. A bar graph for each of notification method, type (normal or correlated), and the top 25 recipients for all customers.
