KBA45042: Branding images appear with grayscale ghosting
Knowledge Base Article: | 45042 |
Applicable Versions: | Report Manager 4.3 SP1 |
Date Created/Updated: | March, 2015 |
Issue
Images on reports are not appearing as expected: images have grayscale ghosting, images are grayscale, images are doubled.
Solutions
Issues with grayscale ghosting of images are probably due to the use of the CMYK or other non-supported color model. The required color model is RGB. If your image is using a CMYK or some other non-supported color model, you need to change the color model to RGB.
- Check the image for the color model and change it in image editing software that supports CMYK (for example, Adobe Photoshop), or use a web-based converter to change the color model.
Opening the image in an editor that doesn't support CMYK, for example MS Paint and saving will automatically change the color model to RGB.
- Re-import the image into Report Manager.
