Change the Frequency of ETLs
ETLs May Fail
If you are running TLS 1.2 on your SQL server, ETLs may not run if the latest updates have not been installed. Ensure you have installed the latest TLS 1.2 updates on your server.
You can change the number of exports before an ETL will run. The default is one ETL after each export.
You may want to increase the number of exports that run before an ETL to reduce the load on CPU and Memory, and therefore increase performance overall. However, when you increase the number of exports before an ETL, there will be a delay in processing your data, which may impact reporting. For example, delaying an ETL won't impact monthly reports, but may impact daily reports.
Unless you are doing custom reporting every hour, N-able recommends six exports between ETLs.
- In Report Manager, click the gear icon in the upper right of the Reports Console window.
In N-able N-central, navigate to Administration > Report Manager > Administration Console. - Click System Setup and Logs.
- Click ETL Configuration.
- Type in the Number of exports to wait before running ETL. The default is 1.
- Save your changes.
