What N-zo uses to answer your questions

N-zo uses underlying data connections, called Model Context Protocols (MCPs) to answer different types of questions. N-zo automatically selects the most appropriate source based on your request.

  • Knowledge Expert - Answers questions about N-able products, including how features work, step-by-step guidance, and explanations. Responses are based on our User Guides, Knowledge Base articles and other knowledge resources.

  • Asset Expert - Queries your live environment through GraphQL to search devices, retrieve performance data, and check user permissions across your managed estate.

  • Patch Expert - Answers questions about patch and vulnerability data, including patch releases, missing or remediated patches, patch status, remediation activity, and how patches relate to vulnerabilities on your devices.

  • Vulnerability Expert - Answers questions about vulnerability data in your environment, including affected devices, vulnerability severity, exposure, CVEs, and remediation priorities.

Product data requirements

N-zo responses are based on the data available through the selected Expert. Asset, patch, and vulnerability information depends on data reported through the Modern Agent and the applicable Ecoverse feature.

If the required data is not available through Ecoverse, a device may be excluded from N-zo results, or the information available for that device may be incomplete.

Query limits

N-zo can analyze and return data from:

  • Up to 10,000 assets.

  • Up to 1,000 vulnerabilities.

  • Up to 500 patches.

The exact number of results included in a response depends on your query and the available data. Broad queries may return only a subset of matching results. To narrow the results, add filters or additional context, including customer, site, operating system, vulnerability, or patch details.

N-zo does not train on your data or learn from individual prompts. Your information remains isolated and is not shared across customers.
