View patches
The Patch Management page shows available, failed, and completed patches. Select a chart segment to filter the view by patch classification, severity, or operating system.
To reduce visual clutter, you can hide charts and keep the dashboard focused on relevant information. In the top pane, select Actions, and then set Charts to Off.
You can export patch information from the patch view to a .csv file for reporting or analysis. The export supports up to 10,000 rows.
View available patches
The Available Patches tab lists all patches available for your Linux and Apple assets. Use this tab to review patch details, assess severity, and manage deployment.
- Go to Endpoint Remediation > Patches.
- Select Available Patches. You can view the following:
- Patch Name: The name of the patch (for example, libzstd1).
- Patch ID: The unique identifier for the patch.
Select a patch to check for patch meta-data or dependencies. If dependencies exist, the Patch details overlay lists them, allowing you to stay in context while reviewing patch information.
- Publish Date: The date the patch was released.
- Severity: Indicates the importance of the patch (for example, Critical).
- Classification: The type of update (for example, Update).
OS: The operating system the patch applies to (for example, Linux).
- Eligible Assets: Number of devices eligible for this patch.
- Pending On: Number of devices where the patch is pending.
- Installed On: Number of devices where the patch is installed.
- Failed On: Number of devices where the patch failed.
View patch history
Use the Completed Patches tab to see a consolidated history of installed patches and outcomes per device. This is useful for audits and post-change reviews.
