Best Practice: Test and validate before moving all users

Before you move all users to N-able Login for each authentication type, we recommend that you test and validate the setup to make sure everything works as expected:

• Sign in with a pilot user

  Use an N-able Login account to confirm successful authentication.

• Check access to N-central features

  Make sure the pilot user can view and interact with the expected dashboards, tools, and service views. Particularly Ecoverse view, Assets view, and Vulnerability Management.

• Verify roles and permissions

• Confirm that the user’s assigned roles and permissions match the original LDAP, AD or local configuration.
