Create user accounts for Active Directory users
There are two methods for creating N-able N-central user accounts for Active Directory users. Both methods work equally well and selecting the one to use is a matter of convenience.
Mobile device management does not integrate with Active Directory.
Import LDAP accounts from an LDAP Server
- Click Administration > User Management > SSO Providers.
- Click the Name of the server.
- Click the Accounts tab.
- Select the check box next to the accounts to import.
- For each account to be imported, you must select the appropriate Customer/SO Name and Account Type.
- Click Import Now.
The user accounts are added to N-able N-central.
Import LDAP accounts from the list of users
This procedure can only be performed at the Service Organization level or Customer level.
- Click Administration > Users Management > Users.
- Click Create User > LDAP User.
- Select an LDAP server from the Server Name drop-down menu.
- Select the check box next to the accounts to import and select the appropriate account type.
- Click Import Now.
The user accounts are added to N-able N-central.
