System Warranty service

The System Warranty service monitors a device's expected warranty expiry date, specified when adding or editing the device. This service provides a means for you to avoid issues, such as leasing penalties, additional buying costs, and the inadequate total cost of ownership data for purchase planning.

If you cannot add the service, click on affected device and click Asset > Configuration and ensure Monitor Warranty Expiry Date is enabled.

How to Disable System Warranty Monitoring in Customer Site

This has to be done in the Customer Level.

  1. In the left-hand navigation pane, click Administration.

  2. Click DefaultsWarranty Monitoring.

  3. Deselect Monitor Warranty Expiry Date.

  4. Check the checkbox under Propagate.

  5. Click Save.
