VNC service

N-able N-central can monitor the availability of a VNC server, and determines the up or down status of the VNC service. The VNC service does not use the Warning state.

N-able N-central averages the availability of the VNC service over the scan interval. It compares the availability of the VNC service to the threshold to determine the status.

The response you expect to receive from the queried port. If the validation string that you specify is not returned by the port being queried, the service transitions to a Failed state.

The default validation string is RFB.
