Fan Status (Fujitsu) service

The Fan Status (Fujitsu) service monitors the status of a fan on a Fujitsu server.

Fan NameType the name of the monitored fan. For a list of fans, query the device with the .1.3.6.1.4.1.231.2.10.2.2.10.5.2.1.3 SNMP OID.
ScanningYou can configure the scan interval according to either a Once a Day or Daily Interval schedule.

Status DetailDescription
Status

Describes the current status of the monitored fan with values mapped as:

  1. WARNING - Unknown
  2. WARNING - Disabled
  3. NORMAL - OK
  4. FAILED - Failed
  5. WARNING - Failure Predicted
  6. FAILED - Redundant Fan Failed
  7. WARNING - Not Manageable
  8. NORMAL - Not Present
Current SpeedSpecifies the current speed of the fan measured in revolutions per minute.
Fan OutputSpecifies the current quality of the fan indicated as a percentage of nominal speed.
Reaction to Failure

Describes the reaction if the fan fails with one of the following reported:

  • Unknown
  • Continue
  • Shutdown and Power Off
Shutdown Delay if Failure OccursIndicates the amount of delay measured in seconds when shutdown should be committed upon failure of the fan.
