The Switch status (Cisco StackWise) service monitors the status of individual Cisco StackWise switches.

Status DetailDescription
Switch Stack Number at Next ReloadThe stack number to be assigned to the switch the next time that it is reloaded.
Switch Stack RoleIdentifies whether the switch is the stack master or a regular member of the stack.
Switch Stack PriorityIdentifies the priority value of the switch which is used to determine which stack member becomes the new stack master when the current stack master or switch stack resets.
Switch Status DescriptionProvides a description of the current status of the specified switch.

The status of the switch is mapped as:

  • 1 - Waiting
  • 2 - Progressing
  • 3 - Added
  • 4 - Ready
  • 5 - sdmMismatch
  • 6 - verMismatch
  • 7 - featureMismatch
  • 8 - newMasterInit
  • 9 - Provisioned
  • 10 - Invalid
  • 11 - Removed
Switch MAC AddressThe MAC address of the switch being monitored.
Switch Software ImageThe software image type that is currently running on the switch.
