The Software Inventory report

The Software Inventory Report displays discovered software on a customer's network listed by the devices on which software has been installed. It is useful as a tool to easily and accurately track software assets in the customer's network. You can use it to demonstrate any software improvements that need to be made.

  1. Click Reports > Report ManagerManaged Assets > Software Inventory report.
  2. Select the customer.
  3. Click the Filter By Software checkbox to filter the software listed, and select the software you wanted inventoried.
  4. Select the Asset Details to be listed. Hold down the CTR key when clicking on the asset detail names to select multiple items.
  5. Select the format for the report and click Schedule or Generate.
  6. Click Generate Report.

Report Manager generates the report and displays it on the screen in the selected format. For further details on using the configuration settings, see the Report Manager online help.
