Install a patch immediately

If a patch becomes available that is urgently needed on devices, you can bypass all patching schedules and maintenance windows and install the patch.

1. Click Configuration > Patch Management.
2. In the Patch Approval section, click By Patch.
3. Click the check box next to the desired patch. Use the Show Filter menu on the right-hand side of the screen to narrow the selection of patches to help to locate the patch.
4. Click Next.
5. Click Perform Action Immediately check box at the top of the window.
6. Select the devices that require the patch. Click the Pencil icon and select Approved for Install.
7. Click Next then Finish.

N-able N-central begins the workflow to install the patch on the selected devices.
