Send a test notification message

Send a test notification to all of the recipients of a notification profile, including the primary, first escalation, and second escalation recipients.

When testing a notification, N-able N-central sends the test notification for all of the notification methods configured for each recipient.

The text of the test notification indicates whether the recipient is a primary, first escalation, or second escalation recipient and provides a template of the notification.

1. Click Configuration > Monitoring > Notifications.
2. Select the check box next to the notification profiles to test.

If the notification profile was created at the Service Organization level, the check box will appear grayed out at the Customer level.

3. Click the More Actions > Test Notification.
4. Click Test Notification.
