Suspend all notifications

You can quickly suspend all notifications generated during normal operation of .N-able N-central. If you are testing or upgrading devices or servers, you can globally turn off the notifications for the duration of the test to avoid sending false notifications to users.

All levels below the level you select will be affected. For example, suspensions at the Service Organization level will also affect Customers and Sites.

Suspending notifications is a grantable permission and should be restricted to the System or Product Administrators.

1. In the upper right corner in the top of the N-able N-central window, click the bell icon.
2. Click the Global Notification Status slider.
3. Click OK.

The Notification Status icon for the level you are in changes to a gray bell with Suspended next to it. The customer users will not receive notifications until you repeat the steps to turn the notifications on.
