Restore files to a device
In the event that a customer accidentally deletes or overwrites files on their device, you can quickly restore the latest backup, or an instance in the past for them.
- Click Cove Data Protection > Cove Data Protection > Backup Dashboard.
- Click the name of the device and click Launch backup client.
- Click Restore.
- Click the Files and folders tab and locate the file(s) or folder(s) to restore.
- Click Browse to select the location to restore the files to.
- Click Restore.
N-able Backup copies the files from the cloud to the selected location on the device.
