Filter failed patches

Filters help you narrow the list of failed patches so you can focus on specific devices or issues. Use them to quickly identify patterns or troubleshoot recurring problems.

To create a filter for failed patches:

  1. Go to Configuration > Patch Management > Linux Patching.

  2. Select Failed Patches on the Patch Management page. Select the Create filter button..

  3. Add one or more filter criteria. For example:

    • Patch Name: The name of the patch (for example, libzstd1).

    • Patch ID: The unique identifier for the patch.

    • Severity: Indicates the importance of the patch (for example, Critical).

    • Classification: The type of update (for example, Update).

    • OS: The operating system the patch applies to (Linux).

  4. Apply the filter.

    Select Apply. The list updates to show only patches that match your criteria.

  5. Remove the filter.

    • To remove the filter, clear the checkbox next to the Create filter button.
