Remove applications from a device

Remove applications from a device using a silent uninstall. Software removal can only be performed on those applications that have silent uninstall enabled. This is indicated in the application list with a check mark icon in the Silent Uninstall column.

  1. In the navigation pane, click Views > All Devices.
  2. Select the Network Devices tab.
  3. Click the Name of a device.
  4. In the Device Details screen, click Tools.
  5. Click Applications.
  6. Click the check box beside each of the names of the applications that you want to remove.
  7. Click Request Uninstall and click OK.

The uninstall begins. If a reboot is required the device will appear to go offline.

If the Request Uninstall button is grayed out, this typically means there isn't a silent installer to carry out the removal, so in these cases, the end user needs to complete the removal.
