Review and modify the registry
Manage registry keys and values, configuration settings, and options for low-level operating system components and applications on a device to help troubleshoot issues.
The Direct Support registry lets you:

Display the current configuration for existing registry values.

Modify registry values.
-
Create new registry entries.
This feature is only available for managed Windows devices with N-able N-central agents installed.
Open the Windows Registry on a device
- Go to Views > All Devices and select the Network Devices tab.
- Select the device Name to open Device Details.
- Go to Tools > Registry.
Browser and Edit Registry Keys
- In the navigation pane on the left, browse to the destination key that contains the values you want to display.
- Select the expand arrow icon next to the registry key name to display its hierarchy of keys and subkeys.
Modify a value

In the right pane, locate the registry value you want to change.

Select the edit (pencil) icon next to the value.

Enter the new data, then click outside the field to save the entry.
Editing registry values can affect system stability. Only make changes if you understand their impact.
Add a New Value

Select New Value from the toolbar.

Choose the value type from the drop-down list.

Enter the required details and select Save.
Adding incorrect registry values can cause system errors. Verify the value type and data before saving.
Delete a Value

Tick the check box next to the value you want to remove.

Select Delete from the toolbar.

Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Deleting registry values can disable features or cause system issues. Make sure the value is safe to delete.
Refresh the View

Select Refresh Now to update the displayed registry keys and values.
