Automatically update N-able N-central monitored device network dddress

This article describes how to automatically update the N-able N-central network address of a monitored device.

Part 1 - Enable the LocalIP Service

The LocalIP Service must be added on the device:

1. Select Views > All Devices.
2. (optional) Under Network Devices, click Reset Filter or filter as needed.
3. Select the name of the device to open the Device details dialog.
4. Choose Monitoring > Status > Add.
5. Add the LocalIP Service settings and select Apply.

Part 2 - Enable Update Monitored Address

After the LocalIP Service is enabled:

1. Choose Settings > Local Agent.
2. Select the checkbox next to Update Monitored Address.
3. Choose Save.
