Shutdown a device

The Shutdown option works for Windows devices only.

If you run into an issue with a Windows device, you may need shut it down fix it.

To shut down a device at the Device level in N-able N-central:

1. On the left-hand menu, click Views > All Devices.
2. In the device pane, click the name of the device to select the device you want to shut down.
3. In the top right corner, click Add Task > Power Management > Shutdown.
4. Click OK to confirm the logged in users will be disconnected and to begin the shutdown sequence.
