Globally change all device network addresses format

Set the network address that appears in the All Devices page. You can set the display to be either the IP address of the device or a FQDN, such as the machine name.

Setting this option globally saves time from changing the option one device at a time.

  1. Click Views > All Devices.
  2. Click the check box next to the Customer column name. This selects all devices in the list.

    3. Alternatively, click the check boxes next to all devices you want to set the network address type.

  3. Click Edit.
  4. In the Device Settings area, click the drop-down menu for the Network Address and select the addressing type.
  5. Click Save.

The Network Address information for the selected devices changes to the selected option.

Additionally, you can change the default format by clicking Administration > Defaults > Discovery Defaults and changing the Network Address Type.
