Manually enroll devices in Device Management for Apple

You must enroll Apple devices in Device Management for Apple (DMA) before you can send Configuration Profile and commands to the devices directly from the Device Management for Apple Dashboard.

You can manually enroll devices in DMA with end user approval.

When you manually enroll a device in DMA, we push a specific enrollment Configuration Profile to the device with an MDM payload that enrolls the device in the MDM solution for that device. There can be only one enrollment profile on a device at a time.

Before you enroll devices in Device Management for Apple, ensure the N-central Requirements are completed.

Use the following tasks to manually enroll, or manage aspects of enrollment for, macOS devices:

• Enroll a macOS device
• Relaunch macOS device enrollment

iOS devices

• Add an iOS mobile device
• Add multiple iOS mobile devices
• Provision an iOS mobile device

To remove an enrollment profile from a macOS computer:

When you delete a mobile device from the Dashboard, the MDM enrollment profile is automatically removed.
