Send commands to macOS and iOS

Commands can be sent to Device Management for Apple enrolled macOS and iOS devices directly from the Dashboard. When the device receives the command, the action is completed, and the results are returned to the Dashboard where they can be viewed in the Command History tab.

Commands are queued for processing if the device does not have an internet connection or is turned-off when the command is sent.

To send a command to a device:

  1. In the left-hand navigation menu, click All Devices.

  2. Click the checkbox(es) next to the device(s).

  3. From the top menu, click DMA > Commands.

  4. Select the required command to issue to the selected device.
