Manage App Store purchases

Device Management for Apple enables you to manage and distribute the apps your customers purchase through Apple Business Manager.

After an app is installed to a device, Device Management for Apple automatically updates the app when an update is available.

Before you can manage and distribute apps, you must:

  1. Ensure your customer has an Apple Business Manager account and has purchased at least one app using it.
  2. Sign in to N-central with a user role that includes the Apps & Books permission.
  3. Ensure customer devices are manually enrolled in Device Management for Apple .
  4. Add a server token in Device Management for Apple for the customer.

We recommend you set your Apple devices to automatically install App Store app updates using configuration profiles.
