Associate a probe to a notification

You can associate a probe to a notification to receive the monitoring status on the probe. Each probe can be associated to the same notification profile.

This procedure can only be done at the Customer or Site level.

1. Click Administration > Probes.
2. For the specific probe, click Manage in the Associated Notifications column.
3. Select the notifications to include and click Save.

The trigger and notification is set for the selected probes. When the trigger occurs on specifically on the selected probe, a notification message is set to the recipients.

 

You can disassociate probes from notifications to prevent the monitoring status on the probe from being received by deselecting the notifications and clicking Save.
