Reset a domain user password

Reset a domain user password if a user forgets their password, reset it so they can log in and continue working. For security reasons you may also want to reset the password for a group of users at the same time. If the user has locked themselves out of their account because they entered the wrong password, you can also unlock the user.

  1. Click Configuration > Domain User Management.
  2. In the Available Domains column, select a domain and select the check box for the user account.
  3. Click Reset Password.
  4. Type a new Password.
  5. Select User must change password at next log on to force a password reset the next time that they sign in.
  6. Select Unlock account to disable the security lock and allow the user to log on.
  7. Click OK.

Next time the user attempts to log in to N-able N-central, a notification appears asking them to reset their password.
