Add a ConnectWise Manage Export profile

  1. Click AdministrationPSA Integration > Export Devices.

  2. Click Add.

    Configure the Profile Properties

    • Name - Identifies the Profile.

    • Description - Provides additional user-defined information about the Profile.

    Settings

    Status of Configurations after Export - Select the status in ConnectWise Manage after data has been exported.

    Default status values:

    • Active

    • Inactive

      If you have configured any custom devices, they will also be listed here.

    When a Device is Deleted or No Longer Managed by N-able N-central - Choose how ConnectWise Manage handles configurations for devices that no longer exists or are managed in N-able N-central

    • Delete the Configuration in ConnectWise Manage: Avoid this option unless absolutely necessary, as deleting the device will result in the loss of its ticket history. We recommend selecting Set Status and choosing a status instead.

    • Set Status of the Configuration in ConnectWise Manage to Active or Inactive.

    • Do Nothing: If you choose this option, you’ll need to manually update your device information in ConnectWise Manage to match what’s in N-able N-central

    Targets

    Device Export Criteria - You can create an export profile that only applies to a specific set of devices by selecting the customers, device classes, or filters that devices belong to.

    • All Devices: Export data for every device managed by N-able N-central (default).

    • By Customer: Export data for devices associated with selected customers or sites.

    • By Device Class: Export data for devices based on selected classes.

    • By Filter: Export data for devices grouped by selected filters.

      The export profile only changes existing devices in ConnectWise where they match the set criteria.

      Click > > to move all of the items from the left column to the right or < < to move all of the items from the right column to the left.

  3. Save your changes.

    Device information will be exported as device changes occur. The next complete export using this profile will happen at the time of the next Asset Discovery.

  4. Click Export Now in the Actions column to initiate an immediate complete export using the new Export Profile.
