Test TCP port connectivity

Test a TCP port's connectivity to verify your network connection to a host on a TCP port. N-able N-central returns whether or not the port connects.

This feature is only available at the system or product administrator level.

1. On the Administrator Console in the Tools area, click Test TCP Port Connectivity.
2. Enter the IP Address/FQDN and Port.
3. Enter the Timeout.

   This is the length of time that N-able N-central attempts the connection before returning a timeout error.

4. Click Test.

N-able N-central tests the specified connection and the Test TCP Port Connectivity screen appears and displays the results of the test.
