Configure SNMP defaults

N-able N-central enables you to globally define and propagate the default device properties for SNMP. Configuring the default SNMP properties provides consistency and reduces the need to manually edit these properties on an individual basis.

Default SNMP profiles

Default SNMP properties are stored in SNMP profiles for quick and easy management of multiple sets of properties.

SNMP Profiles are hierarchical in nature. This means that configuring an SNMP Profile at a higher level makes that profile available for lower levels. For example, a profile created at the Service Organization level will be available to Customers or Sites within that Service Organization. Lower levels can enable or disable the use of SNMP Profiles but they cannot edit or delete them.
