Rename a customer

A customer you are managing may at some point be rebranded, change its name or become acquired. Should this happen, you will need to change the name of the customer in N-able N-central.

  1. At the Service Organization level, click Administration Customers.

  2. Click the name of the customer.

  3. In the Customer Name field, delete existing name and enter the new name.

  4. When entering a name, make sure it follows these rules:

    • The name cannot start with: =, -, +, @
    • The name cannot contain: %, &, $, #, <, >, ;, ", /, \
  5. Click Save.
