Configure unscheduled downtime for a device
Configure a device or a group of devices for unscheduled downtime to perform unscheduled or unexpected maintenance tasks. During this downtime, the device’s agent status and all monitored services change to a disconnected state.
To configure unscheduled downtime for a device:
Method 1: From the All Devices view

Select Views > All Devices.

Select Add Task > Maintenance > Unscheduled Downtime.

Select the Configure Unscheduled Downtime checkbox.

Select Save.
Method 2: From the Device Details view

Select Views > All Devices.

Select the device name to open its details.

Select Settings > Monitoring Options.

Select the Unscheduled Downtime checkbox.

Select Save.
To configure unscheduled downtime for multiple devices:
- Select Views > All Devices.
- Select the checkboxes next to the devices you want to update, or select the checkbox at the top to select all devices.
- Select Add Task > Maintenance > Configure Unscheduled Downtime.
- Select the Unscheduled Downtime checkbox.
- Select Save.
Repeat the steps above to take the device out of downtime.
