Add a URL custom property for a device

Create a URL custom property to store device-specific links, including documentation, management portals, or reference URLs for use in filters, rules, or automation.

  1. In the left navigation menu, go to Administration > Custom Properties.
  2. Select Add > By Devices > URL Type.
  3. Enter a descriptive Property Name.
  4. Enter a Default URL, if required.

    5. For example, enter a website or reference URL, or leave the value blank if it will be set later.

  5. Select the Operating Systems and Device Classes the property should apply to.
  6. Select Save.

The custom property is applied to devices based on the selected Operating Systems and Device Classes. You can update the value for individual devices as needed.
