Disable AV Defender pop-ups

In some customer environments, you may need to disable all pop-ups and alerts from the AV Defender tray icon on the end-user devices. The configuration for alerts and pop-up notifications is controlled in the AV Defender profile.

1. Click Configuration > Security Manager > Profiles.

2. Click on the name of the profile that you want to disable the pop-ups.

3. In the General Settings area, click View Settings for the Settings category.

4. Click the check box to clear the check for Display Notifications and Display Alerts.

5. Click Save.

Alerts are now disabled. If you want to limit which alerts are displayed, you can leave these options and adjust the configuration options in the System Tray Status Alerts and Client UI Status Notifications.
